1. Accounts and Responsibilities

RankGrad offers distinct account types for Candidates, Companies, and Universities. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Acceptable Use and Academic Integrity

You agree not to misuse the RankGrad platform. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Create fake, misleading, or multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
• Share, publish, or solicit screening test answers.
• Use unauthorized assistance, third-party tools, or circumvention techniques during technical assessments.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the proctoring, evaluation, or ranking systems.

Violation of these integrity standards will result in immediate suspension and invalidation of your verified credentials.

3. Payment and Refund Terms

Certain features, such as Candidate Pro access or premium company postings, require payment. Because RankGrad currently utilizes a manual payment verification process, please note:

• Payment confirmations and subsequent account upgrades generally take 24-48 hours after you submit your payment receipt.
• If your payment cannot be confirmed or processed within 5 business days of receipt submission, please contact support for a full refund.
• Fraudulent payment submissions will result in permanent account suspension.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: Candidates retain full ownership of the resumes and profile data they upload. Companies retain ownership of the job postings and custom screening questions they create. By uploading content, you grant RankGrad a limited license to display and process this content to operate the platform.

RankGrad's Content: The proprietary screening tests, algorithms, matching logic, and verified certificates are the intellectual property of RankGrad. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer our platform.

5. Termination and Suspension

RankGrad reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Suspended accounts lose access to all platform features, active applications, and verified certificates.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

RankGrad provides a platform to facilitate technical screening and hiring. We do not guarantee employment, internship placements, or the accuracy of candidate performance in a real-world job setting. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RankGrad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.
